The question of 2021. Online or in-person learning? Most universities around the world have transitioned to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Many students have now realised the redundancy of physical education and have opted for learning on Youtube instead of traditional universities.
Learning Xero software is no different. A simple search on Youtube will show hundreds of how to learn Xero software tutorials. And while this provides students with a huge array of options, there are a lot of tutorials that don’t deserve your time. Not every Youtube video tutorial is as good as what you’d get from an experienced Xeo trainer. Therefore, today we will look at learning Xero online vs in-person.
Online classes are definitely better in terms of taking notes. In our Xero online courses, students often take screenshots of notes. This helps them to follow along in our online Xero courses without having to be distracted with taking notes and keeping up.
In a physical environment, using your iPhone to snap a photo of the whiteboard is often viewed as rude. The photo comes out unclear most of the time anyway. Taking notes is undoubtedly better online and this in turn will help students learn better.
With our Xero online courses, students can wake by 11:59am and be in class by 12:00pm. Attending our course is as easy as logging onto your Zoom account and turning on your laptop’s camera. With physical classes on the other hand, it’s easy to be late due to traffic or oversleeping due to a faulty alarm.
This varies from person to person. While some people prefer difficult concepts being taught in class due to the teacher being able to explain better with a whiteboard in-person, others prefer learning through videos which can be easily shown on Zoom. This differs from person-to-person. However, we’ve learnt that most people actually tend to learn difficult concepts online instead because all students are forced to look at one screen during online lessons.
